For some 3 years now, the Fête Committee can pride itself of a new member: our Cairo born friend Ash Lotfy.

Charmed over his repeated visits to our village by the welcome of its residents and the warmth of the Committee members, Ash decided to join them, thus giving them his time and full commitment instead of just enjoying a well-deserved holiday.

Shop owner-manager, he didn’t hesitate to swap his businessman costume for that of a fully active and cheerful committee member at the service of others.

He was swiftly fully integrated within the team, and he is now unanimously appreciated for his kindness as much as for his eagerness in sharing the hard work.

This humility lesson and example of a well-achieved integration of an Egyptian man in Ariège, truly deserves tribute.
